  • What type of toothbrush and toothpaste should I use?
    Toothbrush bristles are usually of 3 types, they are soft, medium, and firm/hard this is categorized based on the thickness and quality of the bristles. And it is always better to prefer toothbrushes with soft bristles. Medium and firm ones can damage teeth and gums. And it is always advisable to brush twice a day ( Morning and night ). Brushing for 2 minutes using gentle pressure each time is ideal. Toothpastes are used for the purpose of clearing away bacterial growth and acids from food and drinks. All American Dental Association (ADA) approved toothpaste can be used. The ADA accepted toothpastes always have fluoride content, which strengthens and protects the teeth. Use of any kind of medicated toothpaste should be used only if your Dentist has advised you. And always check with your dentist the time duration of the use of such medicated toothpaste and when to discontinue its use.
  • What are early signs of dental trouble?
    Visit your dentist if you have any of these issues or your children complaining of : Any kind of changes or discoloration over the tooth surface Sensitivity in the teeth to hot, cold, hard, or sweet food Pain in the tooth or gums Any type of mouth sores, mouth ulcers or long standing oral lesions Jaw pain associated with ear pain/or headaches.   • How often do I need to get my dental check-ups done?
